Structure · Sets and contributions
Coordinate the package without flattening who contributes what.
Deliverable sets group the outcome. Contributions keep each responsible team, planned record and dependency visible. Revisions belong to the document and carry their own issue-specific metadata.

Plan in Foreman. Bind to Forma when the physical document arrives.
A Foreman-only record or placeholder can carry its number, team, milestone and planned revisions without a file. When delivery becomes physical, bind the correct Autodesk Forma item and continue the same history.
Excel · Controlled round trip
Give teams a familiar workbook without making it the source of truth.
Generate a protected Excel workbook from the live configuration. Teams update the permitted cells; Foreman validates the return, previews changes and imports accepted updates into the register.

Are MIDP and TIDP the only deliverable-list types?
No. They are examples. A project can use multiple configurable list types with different custom fields, controlled values, teams, milestones and allowed conventions.
Do planned deliverables need Autodesk Forma files?
No. Foreman-only records, Proposed documents and placeholders can be governed without physical files. Forma binding is optional when the file arrives.
Can teams still work in Excel?
Yes. Foreman generates a protected workbook from the configuration and supports a validated round-trip import, so teams get a familiar interface without replacing the governed register.
How do revisions work?
A document can have multiple revisions, each with issue-specific metadata such as date, suitability or milestone. The revision history remains connected to the same deliverable and identities.
